Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies




Ingredients

  • 1 18 oz box red velvet cake mix*
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter , melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1.  Preheat the oven to 350F degrees & line cookie sheets with parchment paper
  2. Beat together the cake mix, melted butter & eggs until smooth.
  3. Mix in the chocolate chips. I like to mix in 3/4 cups & reserve the rest for placing on top of each cookie.
  4. Form into balls about 1 - 1.5 tablespoons in size and place 2 inches apart on a lined cookie sheet.
  5. Optionally dot the top of each cookie with a few extra chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 8-11 minutes, or until the tops look set.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to continue cooling.

Ingredients 1 large yellow onion 2 lb chicken thighs 1 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp dry or fresh parsley 2 tbsp garlic parsley salt salt to taste oil for cooking Instructions Prepare all ingredients for the recipe. Pineapple Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients 1 pound (4 ounces each) boneless, skinless chicken breasts salt and fresh ground pepper , to taste 1/2 cup low sugar honey barbecue sauce (you can use your favorite low sugar barbecue sauce), divided * 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained 1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil Instructions Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange chicken in baking dish and top with 1/3 of the barbecue sauce; rub in the barbecue sauce and top with pineapple chunks. Add remaining barbecue sauce on top and cover with plastic wrap. Place in fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400F. Remove plastic wrap. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes, or until chicken's internal temperature reads 165F. Remove from oven and serve. Base Recipe adapted from this SITE

SLOW COOKER GENERAL TSO'S CHICKEN

Ingredients 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into one inch cubes 1/4 cup cornstarch 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/2 cup hoisin sauce 2 T soy sauce 1/2 cup brown sugar 3 cloves garlic minced 3 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1/4 tsp dry ginger 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper more or less to liking Optional garnish green onions, sesame seeds, additional red pepper flakes Instructions In a mixing bowl add the chicken and cornstarch.
